April 3- Discussion of fishing techniques for trout and salmon lead by panel of four Lake Michigan boat captains at the meeting of the Ozaukee chapter of Great Lakes Sport Fishermen at Railroad Station Hall in Saukville at 7:00 p.m.

April 3- Presentation: “Lake Michigan Early Season Tactics” by Brian Settele at the meeting of the Okauchee Fishing Club at the Knights of Columbus Hall in West Allis at 7:00 p.m. ($5 for non-members)

March 31- Trout season opens on designated sections of some Lake Superior tributaries.  Check the Wisconsin Trout Fishing Regulations and Guide for further information.  

April 1- Open period for 2013 fishing tournament permit applications with WDNR

Sorry

No Lake Michigan fishing forecast for southeast Wisconsin this week.  It looks like the weather is going to be cold and rainy so the fishing might not be comfortable, but at least the rain should bring more rainbow trout into the tributaries.  Check back next Sunday for the weekly forecast.
