In Port Washington , there is usually light effort from the ramp and light to moderate effort from shore. The action has been slow from the ramp and there has been some action from the pier, power plant and marina. In Sheboygan , there is usually light effort from the ramp and moderate effort from the piers. The action has usually been slow for the boats and there has been little action from the piers.

Ramp: This past week the action was decent. Chinook salmon, Coho salmon and rainbow trout were caught. Four year old Chinook salmon were caught just outside the harbor. Anglers also had success past 150 feet of water. Successful set-ups included: downriggers (70-140), dipsy divers, weapons and copper. Landings reported came on spoons and j-plugs in shallow and flasher and fly combinations and spoons out deeper. Water surface temperatures are currently in the mid 60’s.
Over the past few years during mid September there was usually light effort, the action was usually slow but there have been some good days. Catches were made up of Chinook salmon, Coho salmon, rainbow trout and brown trout. Most fish were caught in and around the harbor but others were caught in 50 to 150 feet of water and in the top 50 feet, some fish were caught farther out. They came on spoons, j-plugs and flasher and flies on downriggers, dipsy divers and leadcore. Conditions: Water surface temperature has ranged from the mid 50’s to the mid 60’s.
Pier: This past week, Chinook salmon were caught with spoons. Over the past few years during mid September there was usually light effort and little action. Chinook salmon have been caught on spoons. Conditions: The water color was blue green with moderate clarity and the water temperature was in the low 60’s.
Power plant: This past week, Chinook salmon and Coho salmon were caught on spawn sacks. Over the past few years during mid September there was usually moderate effort and there has been little action. Chinook salmon, Coho salmon, rainbow trout and brown trout have been caught on spawn sacks and spoons. Conditions: The water color was blue green with moderate to good clarity and the water temperature was in the low 60’s. The air temperature was in the high 60’s, skies were clear and there was a light wind to the east.
Sauk Creek: Over the past few years during mid September there was no effort. The water level on the creek is low and no fish have been observed.
Ramp: The action over the past week was decent. Chinook salmon were caught in the harbor and around the gap. These fish were caught with spoons, j-plugs and stickbaits on slide divers and downriggers. Chinook salmon and rainbow trout were caught out deep in approximately 300 feet of water with spoons on downriggers and leadcore. Water surface temperatures are currently in the mid 60’s.
Over the past few years during mid September there was usually light effort and the action has been slow. Chinook salmon, Coho salmon and brown trout have been caught. Most fish were caught in and immediately outside the harbor on downriggers and planar boards. Conditions: Water surface temperatures were in the 50’s.
Pier: Over the past few years during mid September there was moderate effort and little action. Chinook salmon, Coho salmon, and northern pike have been caught on spoons and crankbaits. Conditions: Water on the lakeside of the north pier was greenish blue with low to moderate clarity. The water on the lakeside of the south pier was brownish green or blue green with low to moderate clarity and the water temperature was in the high 50’s.
Shore: Over the past few years during mid September there was light effort and little action. Chinook have been caught on spoons in the Deland Lakefront Park marina. Conditions: The water at the ramp was brown with moderate clarity and the water temperature was in the high 50’s.
Edgewater power plant: Over the past few years during mid September there was no effort.
