In Port Washington , there is usually little or no effort from the ramp and light to moderate effort from shore. There was no action from the ramp and there has been a little action from the pier, exceptional action from the power plant and decent action from the marina. In Sheboygan , there is usually little or no effort from the ramp and light to moderate effort from the shore. There was no action from the ramp and there has been little action from the piers, decent action at the marina and some action on the Sheboygan River .

Ramp: Over the past few years during late October there was usually little to no effort and there was no action to report.
Pier: Over the past few years during late October there was usually light effort and little action. A rainbow trout was caught during the morning off the lake side of pier on a plastic jig. Conditions: The water color was blue green with moderate to good clarity, the water temperature was in the low 50’s, air temperature was in the mid 50’s, skies were cloudy with some rain and there was little or no wind.
Power plant: Over the past few years during late October there was usually moderate effort and there has been exceptional action. Chinook salmon, Coho salmon, brown trout, rainbow trout and lake whitefish have been caught, mainly on skein or spawn sacks but also on spinners and shrimp. Fish were caught throughout the day but best catches occur in the morning. Conditions: The water color was blue green or light brown with moderate to good clarity, the water temperature was in the mid 50’s, air temperature was in the high 40’s to low 60’s, skies were usually cloudy with rain occasionally and there were light winds in a variety of directions.
Sauk Creek: Over the past few years during late October there was light effort and mixed action. Near the mouth of the creek there is usually exceptional action but sometimes there is little action, fortunately you can see the fish if they are there. Chinook salmon, Coho salmon, brown trout and rainbow trout have been caught on skein, spawn sacks and jigs. Upstream the action is hit or miss, depending on whether the fish can make it upstream. Chinook salmon, Coho salmon and rainbow trout have been caught on flies. Conditions: The water was usually light brown with good clarity but sometimes low clarity, water level was low, the current was slow, the water temperature was in the high 40’s to mid 50’s, air temperature was in the high 40’s to low 60’s, skies were cloudy with rain occasionally and there were light winds in a variety of directions.
Ramp: Over the past few years during late October there was little or no effort and there has been no action to report.
Pier: Over the past few years during late October there was light effort and little action. Rainbow trout and brown trout have been caught on spawn or spoons. Conditions: Water on the lakeside of the north pier was blue green or light brown with low to moderate clarity. The water off the lakeside of the south pier was light brown with low to moderate clarity and 48-50° F.
Shore: Over the past few years during late October there was usually light effort and mixed action; some years there is decent action and other years there is no action. Action this time of year depends on the timing of the spawning run. If the run is still going then there will be action. Chinook salmon, Coho salmon and rainbow trout have been caught on skein and by anglers casting in the Deland Lakefront Park marina. Conditions: The water at the ramp was brown with moderate clarity, the water temperature was in the high 40’s to mid 50’s, the air temperature was in the high 40’s to mid 50’s, skies were mostly sunny to cloudy with rain occasionally and there were light winds to the north or south.
Edgewater power plant: Over the past few years during late October there was usually no effort.
Weeden Creek: Over the past few years during late October there was no effort.
