In Port Washington , usually light effort early in the week but increased effort over the holiday weekend. There usually has been at least decent action from the boats and a little action from shore. In Sheboygan , usually light effort early in the week but increased effort over the holiday weekend. The action is usually slow for boats but there has been some action for shore anglers.

Ramp: Fishing effort light early in the week but usually moderate to strong over the holiday weekend. There was usually decent action (3-4 fish per boat) with some exceptional days (approximately 7 fish per boat) coming during this week. Chinook, Coho, rainbows and lake trout were caught 15 to 130 feet down in 80 to 230 feet of water with flasher flies and spoons on planar boards, dipsy divers and downriggers. Rainbows and Coho are generally hooked higher in the water column and Chinook and lake trout are hooked down deeper. Conditions: air temperature in the 60’s, mostly sunny skies and there has been variety of wind conditions.
Pier: Fishing effort usually light with a slight increase during the holiday weekend. There has been a little action; a brown trout was caught off the end of the pier with a spoon. Conditions: water temperature in the low 50’s, water color was blue green with good clarity.
Power plant: Fishing effort light and there was no action other than some carp caught by anglers targeting trout and salmon.
Harbor: Very little effort and no action.
Cedar Grove:
Ramp: Fishing effort light early in the week but usually moderate effort over the holiday weekend. The action has usually been slow with an occasional decent day (approximately 4 fish per boat). Chinook, Coho, rainbows and lake trout were caught from the surface to 70 feet down in 100 to 200 feet of water with flasher flies and spoons on planar boards, dipsy divers and downriggers. Conditions: air temperatures in the 60’s, skies were mostly sunny and there has been variety of wind conditions.
Pier: Fishing effort light early in the week but usually moderate over the holiday weekend. There is usually some action. Chinook and rainbows have been caught off the lakeside of the south pier on alewives and spoons; conditions: water temperatures in the mid 50’s, water color light brown or blue green with low to good clarity, air temperature in the 60’s, skies were mostly sunny and there has been a variety of wind conditions. Chinook and brown trout have been caught off the harbor side of the south pier on alewives and spoons; conditions: water temperatures in the low 60’s, the water was muddy with low clarity, air temperature in the 60’s, skies were mostly sunny and there has been a variety of wind conditions.
Shore: Usually no effort.
Edgewater power plant: Usually no effort.
