Ramp: Over the past few years during late April there was usually light effort and some action to report. Brown trout and a lake trout were caught in less than 35 feet of water with stickbaits on planar boards. Conditions: Air temperatures were in the mid to high 40’s, skies were mostly cloudy and there were light winds to the south.
Pier: Over the past few years during late April there was little effort and no action to report.
Shore: Over the past few years during late April there was little or no effort and no action.
Edgewater power plant: Over the past few years during the late April there was no effort.
Weedens Creek: Over the past few years during late April there was no effort.
Ramp: Over the past few years during late April there was little or no effort and little action. Brown trout and a lake trout were caught in 30 feet of water with smelt colored stickbaits on planar boards in the early morning. Conditions: Air temperature was in the low 40’s, skies were clear and there was little or no wind.
Pier: Over the past few years during late April there was little or no effort and very little action. Undersized brown trout have been caught.
Power plant: Over the past few years during late April there was very light effort and some action. Brown trout and rainbow trout have been caught on spawn sacks and minnows. Undersized brown trout and suckers have also been caught. Conditions: The water color was blue green with good clarity or milky brown with zero clarity.
Sauk Creek: Over the past few years during late April there was little or no effort but good action when there was effort. Rainbow trout were caught on flies and spawn sacks. Suckers were also caught. Conditions: The water was light brown with low to moderate clarity, water level was moderate, the current was moderate, and the water temperature was in the mid 40’s.
