Shore fishing has been slow to dead, but there has been decent action from boats in Port Washington . Fishing has been good in Sheboygan with a wide variety of fishes getting caught. Reports based on personal observations and angler reports from the past three years.
Ramp: Brown trout were caught in 30 feet of water with spoons of various colors.
Power plant: Brown trout and rainbow trout have been caught on spawn sacks but action has usually been slow, conditions: water was blue green in color with low to high clarity.
Harbor: Undersized brown trout caught in the north slip.
Pier: No action from the pier.
Sauk Creek: No action on the creek.
Ramp: Brown trout, lake trout and a Chinook salmon were caught on stickbaits in 10-20 feet of water near the mouth of the Pigeon River .
Piers: Brown trout and a rainbow trout were caught off the lakeside of south pier on spoons, castmasters and a green and silver cleo, conditions: water temperature was 44-50° F, the water color was blue green with low to moderate clarity.
Edgewater power plant: Carp were caught on corn in the late afternoon by the outflows behind the power plant, conditions: air temperature was in the low 40’s, skies were partly cloudy and there was a moderate wind to the northwest.
